The SVP members celebrated their feast on 24th Sept. The members actively participated in the morning 8:00 AM mass. There was a gathering of the members, Ward Leaders and SVP beneficiaries in the Church Hall after the mass.

The SVP President, Mr. George Walter Sequeira welcomed the gathering. The Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Norbert Lobo presided over the function and appreciated the generous works conducted by SVP. Parish Vice-President Mr. Vincent Sequeira & Secretary Mr. Denis D’Mello were present on the dias. Mrs. Evjin Cardoza proposed vote of thanks. Mrs. Jacintha Sequeira compered the function.

St. Vincent De Paul Society Paladka Unit was started on 2-11-1996 by the then parish Priest Fr. Benjamin Pinto, now the Parish Priest of St. Peter Claver’s Church, Arva. The motive of SVP is upliftment of the poor and downtrodden in the society through various social welfare programmes.
