The count down for the New Year started with Parishioners gathering together at 6.30 PM on 31st Dec. eve for adoration of Holy Sacrament. The YCS members conducted the adoration service under the guidance of Bro. Rohith D’Costa. The unique effort of the youth was widely appreciated by all.

The thanksgiving mass started at 7.30 PM and was celebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Norbert Lobo along with Rev. Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Director-Catholic Charismatic Services and ICYM, YCS/YSM of Shimoga Diocese. Fr. Franklin delivered an enlightening homily in which he stressed that unless we change deep from our heart, new year is of no meaning to us. We should burn our inside evils to enjoy the real spirit of new year. The church choir enriched the spiritual atmosphere with their meaningful Christmas hymns with Sisters of Mount Rosary Convent ,Alangar directing and playing the music.
