Paladka Church YCS unit organized a One Day Career Guidance program for youth of Moodbidri Varado on 29th October, 2006. Dr. Jerald Pinto, Professor-Milagres College, Kallianpur and Mr. Michael Fernandes, Software Engineer-Bangalore were the resource persons. The program was organized in the Church Hall after the morning 8:00AM mass. At 9.30 AM, the program was inaugurated in the presence of many eminent personalities like YCS Central Director-Rev. Fr. Ronald D’Souza, Moodbidri Varado YCS Animator-Sr. Laveena and Moodbidri Varado YCS President-Mr. Joel Corea. The Parish Priest-Rev. Fr. Norbert Lobo, Paladka YCS Animator-Mrs. Pauline D’Souza and Paladka YCS President-Ms. Reena Jovita Saldanha were also present.

In the morning session, Dr. Jerald Pinto and in the afternoon session, Mr. Michael Fernandes effectively narrated the importance of a successful career and the various paths that lead to a bright future. All the youth participated with devotion in the afternoon 12:00 O’clock mass. The program concluded at 4.30 PM and was attended by 96 YCS members of Moodbidri Varado.

The Paladka Church YCS unit was started for the PUC students on 14th September 1997, by the then Parish Priest, Fr. Benjamin Pinto, now the Parish Priest of Arwa Church.
