Paladka Church, a Parish of Moodbidri Varado and located nearly 42 Kilometers north-east of Mangalore released its web site on the day of the Feast of its Patron, St. Ignatius Loyola on Monday, July 31.

Earlier in the day, the solemn festive mass was celebrated along with Parishioners. Parish Priest Fr. Norbert Lobo narrated the importance of the day and welcomed the gathering. Newly ordained priest, Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’Silva, now the Assistant Priest of Kinnigoli Church was the main celebrant. There were 4 other priests including Fr. Alfred Pinto, Fr. Henry & Fr. Evjin of Nithyadhar Nivas, Alangar and Fr. Denis of Sampige Church.

After the mass, there was a stage function at the Church Hall presided by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Norbert Lobo. Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’Silva was the chief guest. Alwyn D’Souza of St. Paul Ward along with his wife Agnes D’Souza and sons Alan D’Souza & Ashwan D’Souza were present on the stage. They donated a computer to St. Ignatius Loyola Higher Primary school which was inaugurated by Birthday Boy Ashwan D’Souza. Later, the web site of the church was inaugurated by Fr. Norbert Lobo.

Alan in his speech, highlighted the importance of Internet & web technology. He thanked all those who have helped him complete this dream project.

The Headmaster of the Primary school, Mr. Devdas Hedge welcomed the gathering. School Teacher Ms. Benedicta compered the programme. Sr. Joseena of Ursulines of Mary Immaculate Convent proposed vote of thanks.

The cultural activities by the school students followed the stage function.
