Independence Day celebration was started at 8:30am in the presence of school correspondent, students and localites of Paladka.

The flag was hoisted by the chief guest Mr. Jinnappa Poojary, an ex-military who served for 22 years and a localite. There was a speech by him followed by a cultural programme in the school premises, presided by the correspondent Rev.Fr. Norbert Lobo, and the Paladka Panchayat member, Mr Alwyn D’Souza. The programme contained prayer, welcome dance, speech by SPL Master Ashwan D’Souza and many more cultural activities by the school students, ICYM and YCS.

The whole ceremony was mastered by Headmaster Mr. M. Devdas Hegde and vote of thanks was given by Ms. Benedicta Sequiera. Thus the programme was concluded by distributing sweets.
