The auspicious moments finally came for the Paladka Parishioners for which they have eagerly awaited and prepared since a month.

The celebrities began with morning 8AM mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Anil Prakash D’Silva. At 10AM, the donors of the feast were honored with candles by the Parish Priest with secretary Denis D’Mello reading out the names. The solemn festive mass began at 10.30 AM with total 27 Priests coming in a procession to the Altar to the melodious hymn of the choir “Eka Kalzan, Eka Monan”.

Rev. Fr. Alban D’Souza, the Parish Priest of Hospet Parish was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr. John D’Souza of Moodbidri Parish delivered a very effective homily in which he highlighted the importance of God’s will in our day to day life. His highly elegant but simple style with real life examples thrilled the audience and was enough to satisfy their devotional thirst.

The church choir sang melodious hymns under the music direction of Sr. Monthy Sequeira of Mount Rosary Convent-Alangar. At the end, the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Norbert Lobo thanked the Parishioners and all those responsible for the success of the great event.
