A small function to welcome children to the school ‘PRARAMBOTSAVA’ was held on 30th May 2016. Before the function Correspondent Rev. Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues celebrated the Eucharistic mass.

The programme began with a prayer service by children and staff. Steam cooking facility donated by Mr. Melwyn D’Souza is blessed and inauguratd by the Correspondemt. Headmistress Mrs. Jecintha Sequeira welcomed the guests and gathering. Newly appointed teachers were introduced and welcomed by offering flowers. Then all students who were admitted in the current academic year were also offered flowers by the class teachers.

Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues Correspondent and Parish Priest presided over the function. Denis D’Mello, Vice president of the Parish Pastoral Parishad, Vincent Pinto, the secretary of Parish Pastoral Parishad, management Committee members Andrew Serrao and Melwyn D’souza were present on the dais.

Mr. Melwyn D’Souza was honoured with Palapushpa and shawl. Text books supplied by the department were distributed to Kannada medium students.

Correspondent Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues along with guests and student representatives lit the lamp. Then Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues in his message explained the different facilities provided in the School and thanked all the donors.

Headmistress of Kannada medium school Sr. Josina proposed vote of thanks. Sweets were distributed after the programme. Kumari Pavitra compered the programme.
